SCG Muang Thong United will meet Chiang Rai United in the Toyota League Cup final following their semi-final wins last night. Chiang Rai United defeated Ratchaburi Mitr Phol 1-0, while Muang Thong beat Police Tero 2-1. While Chiang Rai United are on course to make a sweep of two cup titles, the League Cup is virtually Muang Thong's last chance to win silverware this season. The League Cup final will be a rematch of the FA Cup semi-final won by Chiang Rai in a penalty shoot-out after a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. As Supachalasai Stadium, Chiang Rai were the better side with Felipe Azevedo scoring the only goal of the match after 14 minutes.
